Helena Emmans is a very talented artist and jewellery designer!

She grew up in Edinburgh and after gaining a BA (Hons) she moved to Skye where she has lived for 12 years.
Helena's
jewellery, characterised by subtle textures, organic shapes and oxidised details is inspired by sun-bleached pebbles, textured stone erosion and the shorelines that surround her in her rural environment..
Her 'Gentle Crescent Brooch' whose burnished and oxidised surface feels infused with the rhythm of the moon and tides is a good example. The circular marks drawing the crescent read like shell or stone erosion, tiny holes that give each piece a unique and delicate quality. The artist's 'Oxidised Irregular Spores Necklace', like a charm of shoreline finds, and 'Delicate Bud Chain' with its incised striations combine contemporary design, natural observation and fine craftsmanship in precious items of adornment."
