In 2003 I had a "waking dream" where I saw a worl
d interconnecting ours made of pure energy. I awoke and created the painting "First Dream" (http://www.platris.com/beginning.html). From that point forward I could sense energy and paint it on canvas.
In my work, I strive to go beyond simply creating paintings that represent energy. I use a number of techniques that draw you, the viewer into the image and allow you to experience the energy on a personal level. I use my art to help people achieve a higher level of spiritual awareness.
