Portrait Artist "Kate Clarke"
Today we are celebrating the incredible portrait artist "Kate Clarke"! Recommended to us by fellow artist Nina Wadcock.
Kate has a studio in a mill in the very artistic area of Hebden Bridge, Yorkshire.
After experimenting with various different media including acrylic and watercolour she soon gravitated back to colour pencil work, the medium having been her favourite during her childhood.
All her portraits are carried out in coloured pencils, usually on bristol board and she prefers to work life size or even bigger!
